Xyron and Paper Smooches Blog Hop

This week the Xyron Design Team has been having fun creating with fun Paper Smooches products - and today, the Paper Smooches DT joins in on the fun!  Be sure to head to the Xyron blog and the Paper Smooches blogs to see tons of cuteness!  And I think someone said there might be some prizes! Be sure to follow the Xyron Facebook page to see the winners.

I used the Pretty Momma stamp set to create a Spa Bucket for Mom (cause remember, Mother's Day is just around the corner).  I gathered some gifts to pamper and dressed them up with my own embellishments.  It was super easy to put together using the Xyron Double Sided Tape.

Enjoy the hop, and if you missed any of the great projects from earlier in the week, be sure to check them out as well!

Zva Creative April DT Blog Hop!

Hello friends! Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our April blog hop!  We are very excited to kick off another blog hop and to have you join us today. We hope you are inspired all of the beautiful work that we are about to share!
The hop begins at Zva Creative’s blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).
As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals.  If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

I wanted to create a mixed media/shabby card today, to show off this gorgeous pink flourish Here's  how I created this.
1.  Begin with a 3.5" x 8" card base ( WorldWin ColorMates Beach)
2. Cut the next panel 3.25" x 7.75" ( WorldWin ColorMates White). Distress the edges by first using a distressing tool and then dipping the edges in a diluted mist spray.

3.  Cut a piece of WorldWin Translucent Vellum and a piece of the Beach cardstock 3" x 7.5".  Tape a Dreamweaver brass stencil over the vellum and apply modeling paste and allow to dry.
4.  Mount the vellum to the Bear cardstock by running the cardstock through the Xyron 5" Creative Station and applying the vellum to it (this is a great method to avoid seeing any adhesive on the vellum.
5.  Adhere crochet ribbon around the center of the panel.
6.  Lightly mist the entire card with a 2-toned pink mist.
7.  Apply the large Zva Creative Flourish ( CRB-06CA-106) to the card.

8.  Die cut multiple layers of the  Tattered Blossoms (Heartfelt Creations) using WorldWin's Petallics ( Coral Pink).  Shape the flower and attach to the card.  Add punched leaves to finish.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path.  I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, April 28th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, April 29th.
***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the blogs along the way is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on one post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.
The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 30th on Zva Creative’s Facebook pagex and blog. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva’s page on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!
We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize!  To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products.  If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva’s Facebook page and “like” our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by if you already like us there!
The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative’s blog. Your next stop is Emilia Stammler. Enjoy!
Thank you for joining us!
P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on May 28th for our next Zva blog hop!
