May Arts Ribbon - The Best of the Ribbonistas Week

This week on the May Arts Blog, we are having the Best of the Ribbonistas week, and I've chosen some of my favorite projects to share with you.  Please hop over to the MA blog- look around, and leave some love - cause, you know someone is going to win some ribbon.  And you can't win it, unless you leave comments there.

Here's the lineup for the week -
Best of The Ribbonistas Schedule

And here are a few of my favorite projects from the past year.

Classic Leaf Die HCD 736
Blooming Dahlia PreCut Set HCPC 3549
Open Leaf PreCut Set HCPC 3545
Heartfelt Expressions HCPC 3474
Metallic 3D Paint - Violet
Other:
Want2Scrap Pearls
Clearsnap Ink - Mix'd Media Inkz - Berries, Mossy; Premium Dye - Plum

May Arts Ribbon - 3/8" AF47
Xyron Mega Runner, Creatopia

Stamp the Dahlia 3 times, and fussy cut the image. For the base image, leave the flower full sized.  For the next layer, cut away the outer petals, and for the third layer, only keep the very center of the flower.  Add color with the metallic paint (in a very thin layer) and add darker ink to the edge of the petals.  Shape the flower a little, and assemble with dimensional foam. Stamp the leaves and cut with the corresponding die.  Use ink and a foam applicator to apply color to the leaves.  Shape and arrange behind the flower. Apply to the bottom left corner of a 6x6 card.  Stamp the sentiment in the center medallion of the patterned paper.  Layer with another printed rectangle and finish with pearls and a bow.
