Have Fun with Best Creation + Epiphany Crafts

I love layering cards - and had so much fun with this one! I used the Travel Forever Line, which is perfect for all of your summer vacation layouts! I love mixing chipboard with die cuts to achieve lots of dimension. After I made my scored-flower, I added a custom Epoxy bubble, using the Shape Studio Round Tool 25 from Epiphany Crafts.

Also, did you notice that yummy Baker's Twine that I used from the Twinery? If you would love to get your hands on some of that goodness, then you need to head over to the Twinery's Blog, and see all of the Birthday Celebrations that they have going on this week - including hops with Scor-pal and Echo Park, and the mother-load give away of a spool of each color of their twine! So much twine to give away!!!!

For my card, I made the background using the Snakeskin stamp and embossing powder. Then I spritzed it with glimmer mist, and rubbed Viva Decor gold over the raised areas. I embossed the dragon from with black powder and filled in the uncolored areas with Sakura Crystal Lacquer.

The Twinery and Scor-Pal Blog Hop

Today we are excited not only about our very first Scor-pal blog hop but also to be celebrating the first anniversary of our friends at The Twinery. These two teams have joined forced for an amazing line up of projects that will show you the wonderful things you can create using your Scor-pal along with baker’s twine from The Twinery! From boxes and bags to cards and 3D projects the creativity by these two teams is sure to please.

If you came here by way of
Grace Hester's blog,
you are on the right track. If not, make sure you start at the beginning over at The Twinery's blog because there are terrific prizes for those who complete the hop by commenting on each blog. Since The
Twinery is celebrating all week, you'll have five days to enjoy this hop, so relax and have fun!

I made an adorable paper purse, that would be great for a little pre
sent or gift card. I used a template from Scor-Pal - which was so easy to put together! I assembled the purse using Scor-tape, but after the sides were together, I added hand stitching using the Lemondrop twine.
If you thought your Scor-pal was just for folding your cards in half... then are w
e gonna rock your world!

To decorate my bag, I used a felt flower and epoxy from Epiphany Crafts. I love being able to create a matching epoxy for and designer paper.

For the handle, I used lamp-worked glass beads, strung on necklace memory wire. This is stiff enough to hold the shape without flopping down.

Here's a recap of what you can win! So be sure to leave those comments!

I'm so glad you stopped by! I hope I've inspired you to give the Scor-pal a try.
Please make sure you leave a comment on my blog because there are terrific prizes for those who leave comments on each
designer's blogs!
The deadline for commenting is 11:59pm EST, Friday, August 19th.
Your next stop on the hop is Jenny Suchin's blog.

Flower Stall

Doesn't it make you smile to walk by a flower stall full of beautiful flowers? Of course it does! So I thought it would make anyone smile who was given a card with a fun flower booth on it! I love the Ticket Booth die, but I thought I would show you that this cutie can be re-purposed. I used the flower bunch from Laundry Line, added leaves from the Ornate Circle Frame, and a couple of clouds from Summertime Fun. I love getting creative "making a scene," by combining different dies. I hope you will give it a try!
