This week’s Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge & Hop (FSC19) – I Love Flower Soft!

This week the Flower Soft girls are dishing out a Looooooove Challenge! Make a card in a Valentine or Love theme.

Entries must be uploaded to the SCS gallery and use at least one Flower Soft product (Flower Soft, toppers, stamps) to be eligible to win. Please use the keyword FSC19 and flowersoft (one word) when uploading to the gallery so we can find your project. Entries will be accepted for the challenge until 6:00am CT on January 14th. The SCS winner’s card will be featured on the Flower Soft blog on January 14th!

The prize this week – New Flower Soft colors! Meadow, Peony Pink and Marigold:

I am absolutely loving the Be Mine collection from Echo Park, so it's no wonder that I used it for my Valentine card today. I used Spellbinders Nested Hearts and inked the stenciled areas with black ink. Then I added Flower Soft Ultra Fine in Raspberry Fizz over the embossed areas. The Ultra Fine can add detail to the most intricate designs.

Want even more inspiration? There is a new episode of Flower Soft TV every Friday. To register for announcements, contests and specials at Flower Soft TV go to http://www.flower-soft.tv/#information.html and then click green "REGISTER" button.

Now if you are ready to hop on, please head toward my talented friend Vicki's blog and be sure to share some love along the way!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Just wanted to share my card with you today that is on the Heartfelt Creations blog. I know it's only January, but I am already wishing for spring. Be sure to check back next week for our new release - I know you are going to love it!

Here are the details:

HCPC 3318 Daisy Patch Flowers

HCPC 3307 Jean Pocket/Ball Can

HCPC 3354 Classic Message

HCPC 3319 Simple Filler Stems

HCD 703 Daisy Patch Die

Spellbinders Labels 17

Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Small

Dew Drops

Flower Soft ( Peony Pink)

Copics- YG03, YG07, BG0000, BG000,BG23, B000, B01, E25, W5, RV00, RV02, RV04

Sakura White glaze pen

Echo Park Paper (Life is Good collection)

Stamp the Ball Jar on Cryogen White paper using black Memento ink. Mask the rim of the jar and stamp the lower portion of the flower stem and cut out the whole shape. Stamp an additional stem and cut out. I cut a small incision at the opening of the jar (using an exacto knife) to feed the stem through. This leaves the area under the "thick" part of the jar's rim without any of the stem. I lightly colored in the stem using the W5 gray pen. This gives the illusion of looking at the flower through a thick layer of glass. I stamped, colored and cut my flower using the Daisy Patch die. I put a Dew Drop for the center and added Flower Soft around. I mounted this on pink DP cut out with the Label 17 die. I adding faux stitching around the edge of this frame. The card was assembled using pop dots to add dimension.

The Beary Scrap January Sketch

Hello Beary Scrap Fans! We started a new sketch challenge a few days ago, and you have until the 14th of this month to play along (and it's a brilliant sketch, so why not have a go at it!)

I was so thrilled when I saw how cool the Basic Grey Pyrus paper looked with my Decadent Pear stamp set from Unity. For my pears, I stamped them using Black Memento ink onto some of the DP, but then colored in the details with a Sakura glaze pen. My flowers were colored with Maya Mist and I added Flower Soft for the buds. I love the vintage feel of this card!

Be Mine!

Are your Christmas decorations all put away? Mine sure are not - but that didn't stop me from sharing a Valentine's Day card with you today. I absolutely love this Be Mine paper from Echo Park - so, don't be surprised when you see more creations with it! I usually like using my punches for borders, but on this card I used the corner punch function. ( Kreaxions Punch 904) It was nice to let a little of the pink show through the black DP.

Belles n Whistles - Snow Flakes

Welcome to Monday! It's back to a normal schedule - so Belles n Whistles has a new challenge for you - we want to see some snowflakes. Now me, I will be happy just keeping the snowflakes on the cards, as our big Christmas snow is finally going away! The Snowbabies Collection is perfect for this challenge, so I used the newest addition to the family, Merry Sledding. We hope that you will join in this challenge, you have two weeks to play along.
